which services families in our area.

Thanksgiving Meal Baskets
1 12 oz. or larger instant mashed potatoes
1 jar of tomato sauce
2 boxes of Rice-a-Roni
2 cans of vegetables
1 can of cranberry sauce
1 bag of stuffing mix
2 cans of turkey gravy
1 box of cake mix
This month Visitation Academy will be participating in the Box of Joy ministry, a Christmas shoebox gift outreach organized by local Catholic schools, parishes and groups nationwide. We will bless children suffering from extreme poverty by filling boxes with toys and other gifts, sharing the joy of Christmas, and planting seeds of hope through the Gospel. We encourage everyone to pack a Box of Joy!

Our Jr. Rosary Society is starting on TUESDAY, October 17th in conjunction with the OLV Rosary Society. Students will be learning about the history of and praying the Rosary the third Tuesday of each month after school from 3:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. in the chapel. This is open to all students in grades 3-8. Students will have the opportunity to purchase Rosary T-shirts which can also be worn on Friday spirit days. T-shirts are available for $20.

Congratulations to Dr. Jillian Grigoryan – Koster. Graduated Drexel College of Medicine this weekend. Dr. Koster will be at New Hampshire Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency at Concord Hospital.

The award honored Catholic schools that have led the way by implementing exemplary, innovative programs to improve the teaching and learning of their students, faculty, and staffs. David Caulfield, Class of 2006 Visitation Academy Alumnus, Dave Caulfield, joined the SKYWARN 6 Weather Team in Wichita Falls, Texas and also reports for Newschannel 6. Dave is very excited to be working and living in Withcita Falls, and keeping Texoma informed about the weather. Dave visited our 3rd grade students to share with them his weather experiences.
