Dear Parents and Friends,
My name is Kimberly Harrigan. As principal of Visitation Academy, it has been a sincere honor and pleasure to be a member of this school family.
Visitation Academy enjoys a solid academic and faith-filled culture that is the result of the partnership between the faculty, staff, clergy, and parents of this school. Along with all of you, I work hard to continue the legacy of success that has been established here.
Before coming to Visitation Academy I was a second grade teacher at St. John the Apostle School in Clark, N.J. for nine years. I have been teaching in grades Prek-5 in the Archdiocese of Newark and Christian preschools for over twenty years. My completion of the Seton Hall Leadership Program has prompted me to make the transition from the classroom to administration so that I may continue to help schools in the Archdiocese provide a nurturing, safe, challenging, and faith-filled education . Catholic Schools will prepare your children, our students, for the vastly changing 21 st century challenges that lay ahead of them.
Be assured my door is always open. Please feel free to make an appointment to discuss any ideas, concerns, or suggestions that you may have.
“ I can do things you cannot, you can do things I cannot; together we can do great
things” - Mother Teresa
